JH Braiding
Booking & Retainer Fees
- Retainer Fee Requirement: All appointments require a non-refundable retainer fee of $35 or 20% of the service cost (whichever is greater) to secure your booking. Applied toward your total balance.
- First Paid, First Reserved: Time slots are secured only when the retainer fee is received. If multiple clients request the same slot, the first payment wins.
- No Holds Without Payment: Appointments will not be held without a retainer fee.
- Changes After Booking: Contact us for approval/refusal.

Before Your Appointment
- Hair Included: Hair is included with most styles except crochet, extensions, and a few others—please call to confirm.
- Hair Preparation: Freshly washed, oil-free, and product-free. Completely blown out & detangled (unless detangling service was booked)
- Children’s Services: We request parents to supervise and control their behavior.
- VIP Members: Enjoy exclusive perks per your membership package.
- Health & Safety: No services if you are sick or showing symptoms.
- Guests: Guests are expected to remain courteous at all times. Please avoid interrupting or distracting the stylist during services, and maintain a polite and respectful demeanor.
- Right to Refuse: The salon reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.

Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Cancellations: Must be at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a 50% cancellation fee.
- Rescheduling: Must be at least 48 hours in advance to transfer your retainer fee to the new date. Otherwise, a new retainer fee is required.
- How to Reschedule: Call/Text us or use the link in your confirmation details.

Late Arrivals & No-Shows
- Grace Period: 15-minute grace period. After this, your appointment may be canceled, and an 80% no-show fee will be charged.
- No-Call, No-Show: Results in an 80% service fee and may limit future bookings.

Payments & Refunds
- Balance Due: Remaining balance is due in Cash or via Zelle at the time of service.
- No Refunds: All payments are final.
- Price Changes: Prices may change without notice, but confirmed bookings are honored at the original rate.

- Guests are expected to remain courteous at all times. Please avoid interrupting or distracting the stylist during services, and maintain a polite and respectful demeanor.
- Children not permitted unless they are receiving a service (or a pre-approved exception applies).
- Allow full service time for your style.
- Do not rush or distract your stylist during your service.
- Photos & Social Media: We may take photos/videos for promotion—please let us know if you prefer not to be featured.
- No instructing stylists on braiding methods during service.
